I agree. This is a divisive issue that isn't going to change anyone's opinion. People will get upset and the hiking world will just become a little less friendly.

Are the forks of the river along each trail easily accessible for the majority of the hike? I'm wondering how much water to take. I've never been there, obviously, so I don't know if the streams are canyon-like. I'd like to be able to carry a minimal amount of water and then mosey down to the river ...
