You cross the stream multiple times as you get to there so if you can get there will depend on water level and general condition of road which tends to degenerate as get closer to the river -- we did see a VW bus parked at the unoffcial TH when we got there ....

I drove by the area yesterday on my way back from White Mountains & I remembered Joe as I looked up at the peaks....Great to hear folks that are out in those mountains in the aftermath of the fires are now in the know.

Hiked the Baldy loop & camped 2 nights at Winn. T'was 34F yesterday night at camp!
