does anyone have any suggestions as to where some nice flower fields are close to the phoenix area? i am already aware of the flowers at lost dutchman state park/ siphon draw area. my fiance wants to take our engagement photos in a wildflower field so if anyone has any good suggestions i would great...

thank you everyone for the suggestions. unfortuntly my horseback riding plans got ruined because of all the rain on saturday so I just got us a room at the buttes resort and we went to dinner and i asked her after dinner. She made me the happiest man in the world by say YES!!! :y:

Thank you everyone. yes the cs was was pretty bad but the pepper spray was the worst pain ive ever experienced. I dont think I would like to hike to the spot for this one. if i have to i wouldnt want to hike to far. thank you for all the suggestions so far.

Does anyone know if there is water in first water creek? the last time I was there it was very full but that was like 2 years ago. I'm trying to find a quick overnight backpack to do close to the valley with a good water source.

Me and my buddy both got stung by a bee the other day. I got hit on the left arm and he got hit on his forehead. I didnt see the hive and i just about stepped on it. surprised the whole hive didnt come after us

I had some rattlesnake while on a hunting trip about 5 years ago. we just skinned and gutted it and roasted it over the fire. no need to de-bone it
