hahaha...

this may be 100% irrelevant, but my hiking enjoyment skyrocketed when i put down my camera. i shelved the camera and my hiking world opened up

i had one of those get stuck in my hair the last time i hiked romero pools in the dark/dawn hours of the summer...

wow you've got kind of a 70's vibe going these days, hpp...

i probably should do it more. two major reasons i don't..

1. i find it unbearable in the heat (although romero is probably just as bad and i do that routinely)
2. the descent can be a real pumpkin on my knees

yeah, i do it when i don't otherwise have much time (before work, work/call weekends). otherwise i like to stretch my legs more a bit. actually i wish it had more of a gain to it
