I don't know many details, but a friend participates in this hikathon to raise money for youth, so I said I'd post here if anyone is interested. I do not think the hikes are crazy wilderness style; local hikes at the local parks...which can still be fun. If anyone is interested in this here's the link with the details is below. "Hiking this year will go from March to April." Sounds a bit like Stephen King's "The Long Walk" to me. 
Is there anything out there, or is it just more of the same?
