Outdoor loving beer company!

Postby Jonnybackpack » Mar 08 2012 11:57 am

Wow, my dream of opening a brewing company is so close. This past few months has been crazy, and I hope in the years to come I see all of you having a fine pint of AZWBC with me at the pub. Our kickstarter funding project link is the best to get more info for now. http://www.facebook.com/azwbc on Facebook.

people: i had the rare chance to test drive his "Refuge India Pale Ale (ipa)" and it was very, very good. I have tried at least 40 brands and flavors of IPA, and this one sits in the TOP FIVE.
well done, Jonathan.

I have been fortunate enough to sample their Refuge IPA, Red Rock Secret Red Ale, Pecan Brown Ale, Superstition Stout, and Paiute Pale. All were exceptional! I've also embarked on many a backpacking trip with Jon, and I've gotten to witness his passion for wilderness, beer, and, quite frankly, everything else in life. This dude has passion and does NOT half-ass things! I guarantee AZ Wilderness Brewing Co is going to do great things.

I thot the Pecan Brown Ale that I got a taste of at HAZfest was just wonderful!

Good luck with your venture! I'm sure it has been quite exciting.

Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled.

This is what's called a shameless bump! :guilty:

I noticed that the AZWBC kickstarter is now over 75% of the way to their goal, with only a week to go. Anybody interested in helping out a longtime HAZ contributor get a new brewery going should check things out here:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/783 ... brewing-co

And as you are contemplating other worthwhile causes to invest your tax refund, don't forget to keep HAZ in mind too. I'm sure the devteam would appreciate it! :)

I never quite understood all that so thx for bringing it to my attention. The brown pecan ale or is it pecan brown ale? is worth the donation in and of itself. :D

Angela- Jon tweaked the recipe and had a tasting last night for those who pledged $100 or over- The Pecan Pie Brown is even better now than it was back in January!

Anyone interested should come to Flanny's on Elliot and McClintock tomorrow (Saturday) night! AZWBC will be getting a couple kegs, and the profits will go to their Kickstarter campaign! Plus Flanny's is a great place to get a beer.
