I'm planning a trip into Rogers Canyon via the Rogers Trough trail-head and am wondering about the condition of the road. I've got a high clearance vehicle but only two wheel drive. I've made this hike several times and know that the last three miles can be tricky if they haven't done any maintenance lately. If anybody has been there recently I'd appreciate any information on the roadway conditions.

I was there a few weeks ago and the road was no problem at all in a jeep jerokee in 2wd with a broken shock, if that can make it up there so can whatever you have. The only problem might be all the rain we've had lately. Theres always the possibility of washouts along the road.

You wouldn't want to be on that road in heavy mud w/o 4WD, and real bad mud you should just stay home.
