Hike near Payson

Hike near Payson

Postby HeathenDot » Feb 23 2009 12:36 pm

I am a newbie hiker- love living in Payson and the wonderful hikes that abound here. However, I can't enjoy them because I freak myself out about wildlife that might be lurking, waiting to pounce.

Is anyone near Payson that wants to go on day hikes with me? Let me know!

:welcome:

Don't get too worried about the wildlife, you are more likely to get injured driving to the trailhead than on the hike! Unless the animal is rabid or you are threatening its babies, it likely wants nothing to do with you.

If it's a psychological thing, consider bringing pepper or bear spray.
