Maricopa County Trail System Plan

Postby azdesertfather » Nov 26 2009 10:18 am

In reading about the Maricopa Trail underway, I stumbled across this document on the maricopa.gov website...and was pleasantly surprised! They have a lot more in the works than just the Maricopa Trail...plans that spread out all over the county in multiple phases. Check this out, and post what you think about the plans here! :D

The file is to big to be posted here (32MB), but can be seen here: http://www.maricopa.gov/parks/MaricopaT ... ilPlan.pdf

I'm interested in where it's going to cross the Reservation between scottsdale and the salt river, anyone have any info on that...seems like it will go awfully close to Red Mountain which is a "sacred" area.
