Speculation on this case is very grim. Years ago her father committed suicide in the forest of Colorado, and she is known to have purchased a handgun the day she was last seen. She was also involved in a vehicle collision recently that resulted in the death of a pedestrian for which she felt responsible (according to media reports). Let's hope she is found soon, and safe.

HEADS UP - The article mentions a large search area - from Four Peaks to Fossil Creek. I guess the first objective is finding the Jeep to at least narrow the search area.

Missing Phoenix woman's sister issues plea, 'Please come home'
As police and volunteer searchers scoured central Arizona on Monday for Holly Bruce, her sister issued a plea:

"Holly, you are so incredibly important,'' said the missing woman's sister, Ashley Bruce, 26, of Scottsdale. "You are loved and you are my best friend and I need you in my life. Please come home."

Police and volunteers have been searching for several days for Holly, 25, who went missing Wednesday and is believed to be...

Wow, that's awful. They maybe should also think about looking in Colorado where her father was. Sometimes depressed people think that way....

This is very upsetting. I hope they find her soon. Alive.

Sad end to this one.
Holly Marie Bruce, 25, went missing Jan. 4 and was feared to be suicidal....

The Jeep and the body were found Monday morning in a desert area near Sunflower in the Tonto National Forest, officials from the Sheriff's Office said.

There was a handgun found near the body, officials from the Sheriff's Office said.

The cause of death has not been disclosed, according to the Sheriff's Office.
