Oh man, that's mighty tempting. I think I'm holding off for the Sigma 70-300 Macro, though.

Man I wish I had a nice DSLR right now : ( Was going to get one for X-Mas but my mom was iffy about paying for a decent one.......least I got an REI giftcard instead and got to finish out my backpacking gear : )

You should head over to circuit city right now, theyve got great deals on slr's

they have the 40D with a 28-135mm IS lense for 900$

Wow, that is a good deal. I'm having to dig to find that sort of deal with ebay, which usually blows away the retailers like Circuit City.
