Common Names:Lark Sparrow
Habitat:Open grassy fields, meadows, open country with scattered brush and trees. Widespread Summer resident of much of the Western and Midwestern U.S. Summers throughout most of AZ, but is a full-time Resident of the extreme Southern part of the State.
Description:Boldly patterned head, with black, white and chestnut coloring. Streaked above, white below, with black spot in center of breast.
