Tringa solitaria

Habitat:Summers in Canada, migrates through the U.S. to winter in Southern Florida and Mexico. Prefers Bogs, Swamps, Streams and Irrigation Canals, but also frequents Cattle Tanks.

Description:Small, dark bird with Olive Green Feet. Flecked Upper, with prominent Eye Ring and a White Tail with Black barring. No Wing Bars.

Comments:Solitary Migrator who likes to use the Nests of other Birds and may not nest on the Ground like other Shorebirds.
