Paste: Buff to pink.
Temper: Mica flakes with sand.
Design: Surfaces smoothed and buff slipped. Designs are painted either in panel or quartered layouts, with small repeated elements and negative designs being more common. Design elements include serrated lines, interlocking chevrons, diamonds, spirals, and human and animal figures.
Comments: Phoenix basin ware. Common vessel forms include bowls with both flared and unflared rims, flared-rim jars, plates, scoops, and effigy figures.
