cleared the schedule to take Friday off with plans to make it a fun day trip. Up at 2am, loaded and left Queen Creek by 230. Arrived Cathedral Rock TH by 5, hiked up past the junction and flanked to the southeast side for some star time-lapse shots. Shot until 7am and then hiked down and drove up to Snowbowl for a day of skiing (lots of GREAT SNOW but much slower lines and lifts compared to Sunrise ).

Made it back into Sedona for a wonderful sunset... and I pinpointed the reflecting pools above Crescent Moon park for a future model shoot! Back at home by nine and now have ~2000 frames to process.
