I went to the TRACKS hiking club meeting in Pinetop, and skied with 5 members near the Sky Hi Resort. This is off Bucksprings Rd., take Sky Hi Rd. I am calling it Elk Springs Draw, although we were just skiing near there. We skied back to a big flat open meadow area. It was kind of amazing how you could ski all around without sinking in. Later on in the day it got pretty slushy, though. Spring is coming!
