Valley of the Gods, UT

A HAZ Base Camp set up at the same site as a 2008 trek (see http://hikearizona.com/photoset.php?ID=5503&start=15 ) made to Valley of the Gods. With forecast Lo Temps of 28degF, the morning frost on my tent and on the ground provides evidence that was achieved. Had a chance to make a star light stroll Friday evening and a sun rise photo trek Saturday morning. A conversation with one of the Rangers at the Kane Gulch Ranger Station indicated that a trek further up the West Fork of Lime Creek has a spectacular dry waterfall payoff...
