My wife came inside and said Denny's outside sleeping in his car. So being the nice guy I am....I rapped on the window and watched him jump
. Wally met us about 15 minutes later and we were off to the no-tel in Cameron. It was freezing as we unloaded the car and tried to crank up the heat. Denny turned the Suns game on and watched the final minutes as the Suns defeated some other team. Next up was Finding(saving) some girl named Sarah. We missed most of the beginning and I didn't have a clue but it was entertaining.
On yeah this is about a hike....we started hiking about 730 and were at Vassey's about 1100. From above, it didn't look like any big deal. When you get up close and personal with Vassey's...it is awesome. It was the highlight of this destination trip. On the way back, we stopped at Stanton's Cave...boring. You do get to see huge steel bars barring you from entering. There is a sign to be quiet because of some special bats. Rumor has it saber-tooth tiger remains and giant condor bones were found there along with split twig figurines.
There was lots of water along the route...and on the way back we filtered some.
Thanks Wally for driving and for setting this up and for dinner...did I miss anything?. Thanks Denny for sleeping on the floor...and for the sandwich that made me sick
Thanks Joe...oh wait...hope your blister feels better
