The start of this hike is steep and can be slippery on the small stones if you come back the same way as we did. We saw a Skunk after the first climb and it did not seem to be bothered by us passing by. The trail was easy to follow with the cairns but very rough in places and you almost had to bolder hop to save the ankles. Coming back down the views across to the Bell Trail parking and White Mesa were good
