Nice beginning to a day. Free pancakes, sausage, and hashbrowns. Live in the neighborhood and stopped by for the grand opening of the Mesa Grande Interpretive Trail. Unclear when or how they will be allowing tours or if it is going to be on special occasions. Fun place to takes kids and adults. Where else can you test your skills at using an atlatl, bolo, and rabbit sticks. The also had interactive demonstrations of the pump drill used by Hohokam. Anyway, don't think I burned off breakfast, but it was nice to participate in a local community site especially when I pass it daily. This site has a replica of the ball court that unfortunately was not saved because Desert Vista was built on it.
