Tried to do a long hike in a new canyon until we reached a big drop that we couldn't get around. Filed this canyon away for future technical descent attempts (although it wouldn't be a first descent, we found evidence of a previous party, though nobody within the last few years has tried this.)

Since we'd woken up at 2AM anticipating a 14 hr day, we each found ourselves with lots of time left. That's a chance you take when exploring somewhere new, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
