Tucson folks....I just love spending time in your neck of the woods!I've been lucky over the last 5 years as my wife works in the area a few times a year and I get to tag a long. I've done this hike by myself a few years back and wanted Judy to also experience it. Wish we had gotten up a little earlier for our drive down, but you know how that goes. We started hiking about 10:30 AM. Spent time with our feet in the water having lunch and stopped for various pics. Topped the day off with dinner at Guadalajara Grill for Mexican food. Always enjoy this place but I'm sure you locals may have other Mexican food favorites...we usually stay at the North/East end of town. PLUS the next AM I spent about an hour in the Summit Hut! Life is good.
