This was my first Arizona hike. Started up the loop trail going counterclockwise. The clockwise route is a steep climb at the beginning with few switchbacks to the first viewpoint. The counterclockwise route is a more gradual beginning.

Good hiking trail. Saw very few people until near the end. One guy ran the entire trail twice!

Nice views in all directions, wildflowers everywhere, and cactus beginning to flower.
