A quick little warmup hike to blow the carbon out of my lungs. I detoured significantly from the traditional hike as the Huckaby was used to access the west end of Mitten Ridge. I hiked the trail for around 30 minutes and then took a right turn to begin the ascent through manzanitas and junipers while the ridge loomed overhead. It was an awesome view once on top, with decent exposure on both sides of the ridge.
