Decided to go climbing with my buddy Justin.... It was too hot! So we hiked/climbed the area. It was fun, until we went down a sketchy area around the actual pond. Justin was all about his new Sportiva approach shoes which I envied as I've been looking for some. However, as he was climbing down a large boulder, his Sportivas stuck to the rock great, but his pack also got hung up causing him to lose his balance! He started sliding.... and kept sliding. About 30 feet! I saw him falling and then lost sight. All I could here were his quickdraws jingling down the mountain. Then I hear,"Yeah! Woo! That was sick! Awesome!" Needless to say, when it was my turn to go down, I went very slowly.
