| | | This is kayak trip on the Huron River just south of Brighton, Mi. We put in at US23 and paddled to my brothers house on Strawberry Lake. There were a few tight deadfalls at the beginning, but nothing too tough. There was some harder paddling when the river widened out and paddling into the wind. The last 3/4 mile across the lake seemed to take awhile. Temps were in the 90's and it was humid during this trip. Saw numerous birds, Ducks, Geese, Swans and a pair of what I believe to be Copper-bellied Water Snakes. | _____________________
