Summer Kayaking At It's Best...

This was my first trip to Clear Creek Reservoir and most certainly not my last. Wow! It almost has a Lake Powell feel to it. I had so much fun on this trip. I wish it wasn't so far away from my house. Basically everyone on the lake was in either a canoe or kayak. I have never been around such a large community of fellow paddlers. Everyone was so friendly. I was the obvious outsider in what appeared to be a weekly event of paddling, swimming, and cliff diving for locals throughout the area. I don't think the air temperature broke 95 all day and the water felt like about 75. Those two numbers equate to perfect summer kayaking for me.
