I swear, the Radio Summit has it in for me. Every time I go for it, I start out feeling great, and begin to feel lousier and lousier the further I go. I'll give it one more shot when the cooler temps are here - that's gotta' be the trick.

Any who, back on the Goat Camp Trail for, what, the fifth time? It still keeps me huffin' and puffin'. I knew I wasn't going to be able to make my original plans about a mile and half in, so I figured I'd check out the outcrop that Coanbru mentioned in one of his triplogs. I'm surprised I've walked right passed this trail so many times without noticing it. Got up top only to be pelted by insects (maybe I'll invest in some repellent for next time). Took a couple pictures and started heading down.

With some sort of "destination," the trip didn't seem as pointless.
