    Opening day of being able to hike all around the lake. Clouds and mist all around, but the rain held off. Lots of cormorants and blue herons. Hiked back to the heron nests and got some pictures. Decided not to hike all the way around when I started to hear thunder. Made it back around the south end, where water is running into the lake.
