Started up the trail along side the dry irrigation ditch and was a little puzzled why there was no water running down it. Soon realized why as I arrived at the flat and saw the very recently constructed water pump box. Kind of takes away from the beauty of the area a little bit but I guess it's necessary for the apples down at Angle Orchard. Spent about an hour roaming around the waterfalls and up to the flat before heading back down. Stopped at Dankworth Pond State Park on the way home to watch the sun go down.
