Weekend out and back from FR-300/Fred Haught trail to a little past barbershop canyon on the U-BAR. Saturday hike was almost all in rain. Made a little fire to practice fire in the wet,
good thing as a pack of wolves howled nearby at dusk ! Someone in Oracle told me they
will kill people , didnt think so when I was out there, ignorance is calmness. Saw two herds
of elk on the hike back in the morning. There was water all along the trail , some people fishing in barbershop canyon but didnt see any fish myself.
