The Take-A-Hike gang were coming to my neighborhood for a campout, so I turned them on to this hike. They wanted something in the Catalinas with a bit of elevation without having too much heat of the desert. The weather was quite nice giving us good views throughout most of the hike. As we started up Lemmon Rock LO trail, the weather started threatening. We got a couple sprinkles to cool us off, and overall, we fared pretty well. By the time we were about to the top, the clouds parted and the views opened up again. Perfect weather, if you ask me.
