 | Toprope | 5.6 | | | | | | | Hiked in with Scott to the Swamp Slabs and he led the climb. It was a lot harder than what I previously did @ 5.6 and much harder than the Grand Teton. Great rock and a fun area, just it could use less brush. Mountain Mahogany sucks. No summit, even though I tried. The brush was really, really thick above the climbing area and the peak above us may have had nice views, but it was way lower than Granite Mountain's summit. | _____________________
| I think Monsoon season will begin around June 20, plus or minus 5 days, not by the calendar according to the NWS, but when dew points rise dramatically, and it begins to rain over the Sacramento Mountains. It will start about 10 days later in Arizona. |
