Headed out my front door down the road and onto the Oracle ridge trail for
a short weekend backpack/rest_away_from_the_computer! I only went as far as
Dans saddle then turned back for a mile before camping with a nice view from which
I could see all the way to four peaks and the superstitions. Just slept
under a tree for a few hours before making dinner and enjoying the sunset. Heard a
loud grunting noise at dusk, bear or pig I guess. Headed down early next morning
to get back to that damned computer! On the way down I kept wondering if there
is a spring of any sort out there but didnt see any signs of water. I had done this
full trail as part of a longer Az trail hike a few years ago.
