My first trip back out to the falls in over 5 years. I arrived at the trailhead a little after 1pm and for awhile, it looked like it could storm. The first 1/2 mile of the trail was kind of a mess but after the 2nd creek crossing it was very nice all the way to the falls. I discovered at the slick rock area that some of the metal grates have been removed since my last visit along with the old horse detour signs. Spent about 15 minutes at the falls before returning back up the trail in the dim light from the dark cloud cover, it never did rain. I had forgotten how nice this creek was and really enjoyed this hike!
