I can't begin to explain what a great trip this was. Meeting Some of the best HAZ photographers was a humbling yet amazing experience. I loved every minute of it! Chumly is a campfire master and did very well preserving the memories. The three that put this on (Jake Joel and Johnny) deserve a lot of kudos, it was a great party! They provided three very different points of view and distinct teaching styles but seem to really enjoy sharing their secrets. It was so much fun: the box of sangria, the campfire songs, awesome chili, honest conversations, chocolate cake, thick creamy beer, campfire yoga, hiking the next day with a hangover and 3 hours sleep, the aspens, the Thai food... The thought of any of these things instantly brings a smile to my face! :A1:
THANK YOU!

How To Put Out a Campfire
A campfire must be extinguished by drowning it with water, stirring with a shovel, and repeating that process until the campfire is cold to the touch. A campfire is still a danger if it has any trace of heat, and must not be left or abandoned. Wildfires can begin by abandoned campfires that rebuild heat on windy days and then blowing embers ignite surrounding grasses and brush.
