great Hike with my sister and neice. Fall Aspens colors are at their peak right now. the lower aspens alreadylost their leaves, so you better hurry quick. I took a detour from this trail at the first rock outrop on the right of the trail below the first meadow, and climbed on the right hill up to the hugh rock outcrop which is a seek look into New Mexico, and the backside of terry Flats which is covered in Aspens up to 90%. You must look at this if you are hiking the trail. It was sunny and I got sunburned bad, but the wind was very cool so bring that jacket for you will need it. One more week or a good storm and everything will be over with, so GO NOW!!!
