I am from Florida, so when i came to visit last year I thought this was going to be an easy hike, lol. 1mile to the top 'should be a breeze'. It wasnt long before I took a break, then another, then another, until grandma passed me 3 times, and 80 year old grandpa from scottsdale passed me 2 times, 'I was like WTF'. this little trail may be easy to locals, but it wore me out the first time I did it. the lack of oxygen from being at 12ft above sea level, took its toll on me. I finally made it to the top, after thinking I was almost there 3 times with only another peak to climb you couold not see until that other one was reached. I loved the view up here, and someday will sneak up here at night, for it has to be a great view. I been meaning to do it again, but been hiking other places so much. It is a must do, if you are in the Phoenix area. though small trail, it will kick your butt if you are not ready for it. I drank a gallon of water just to reach the top.
