Parked at the Humphrey's TH and met Chuck out in the big aspen grove north of the parking lot. We wandered down to the AZT and hiked it a little ways north into another aspen grove. It was damn cloudy so the sunset was a dud, but it was nice to get out into some brilliant yellow aspens and enjoy a bit of autumn. A storm started rolling down the mountain as we were walking back to the parking lot, but we made it into the vehicles without getting very wet. Went to Chuck's house on the way home, he helped me do my first photo stitch! The shot isn't anything spectacular, but it's still cool. Not a bad evening, hoping to go back out that way later tonight and try my luck on another fall sunset on the Peaks.
