I drove around Mormon Lake on the back roads looking for fall color. The aspen at Weimer Tank are in full color. The oaks are just beginning to turn and should be great next weekend. Then I parked the truck at the end of Mormon Lake and walked down to the old homestead and out to the point, where the cottonwoods were in full color. There are enough berries around the homestead for a batch of wine!
