Perfect weather day - sunny but cool. Starting about 8:00 AM we went from the CCC trailhead up the Telephone trail which had been totally cleared and is in great shape. Telephone gets morning shade as the sun rises from the east. We picked up the Icehouse Canyon trail at the intersection and took it to the road which we followed to Signal Peak. Nice to meet HAZ hikers WallyFrack and Tortoise Hiker on the road to Signal - HAZ rocks.

We took the Sixshooter trail back to the trialhead. There is some great fall color on the upper part of Sixshooter and I posted some pictures of that. This is not yet peak fall color on Sixshooter. I expect it will peak sometime between one and two weeks from now so this is a good time to plan a hike there.
