Drove up the Catalina Highway to the trailhead and hiked down about a mile of the trail and went out on a large rocky outcropping. Great views on this trail. It was cool, but it felt good compared to the heat below, which for me was a lot. I was in shorts and a T-shirt, everyone else was in pants and coats. It was only 46 degrees. I'm actually surprised I wasn't cold.
