We wanted to see some fall color and settled on the See Canyon/Drew trail loop. Traffic was a breeze the whole way there. The leaves were gorgeous and I was amazed at how deserted the trail was as we wandered. Only one person the whole hike other than some folks around the Carr Lakes Campground. Ate a brief lunch on the rim and then headed down Drew. (Glad we took See Canyon on the way up... I think.) More great color on the way back down once you you hit the Highline trail. We didn't see any bears but we were startled by a group of cattle that were roaming the trail. Look out for landmines. Enjoy the hike.
