Chasing the fall colors. This canyon is usually a drive in and out, passes several TH's, from pavement to dirt up a pretty shallow narrow canyon. A substantial rockfall with boulders the size of cars caused the road to be closed before the Scheelite Canyon TH, so it was time to park and hoof it.
The creek was flowing well, the maples were red to gold to green, as it seems to go this year. Difficult photography as the watercourse is thick with reeds, poison ivy etc. Rather quiet without the vehicle traffic. Nice day.
