A fantastic hike in the Superstitions. My uncle and I started at the Peralta Trail parking lot, walked over to the Lost Goldmine TH and took the trail to the Carney Springs TH. We went up Carney Springs to the West Boulder Saddle and then walked over the trail towards Fremont Saddle. We took the Robbers Roost detour which was the highlight of the trip. Thanks to the posted GPS route and a copied triplog description, we were able to find Robbers Roost without too much trouble. I am certain we never would have found it on our own. This is one of my favorite West Superstition hikes. The only negative was the hike down the Peralta trail from Freemont Saddle. It just seems to take forever! What a great hike!
