Scouting trip with Lee Allen to check out the pipeline reroute and the access roads. I am going to be leading a crew this winter (the Crazies North) to build the southern mile and a quarter and I wanted to get a better idea of what I'd be working with. It was great to look at that pumpkin pipeline road and know that soon AZT users will no longer have to endure the endless steep ups and downs and instead will have a pleasant ridgeline hike to Bloodsucker Wash south of Antelope Peak. I will be posting trailbuilding events soon. Terrain looks pretty open and stable and there's only one wash crossing that will require major construction. Looking forward to putting tools to the ground soon!
