Yes, it is a silly name for a silly hike, but this makes a good workout. The trail is quite steep and rocky, though short. There is a USCGS marker at the summit (see photo), though I couldn't make out the date.

The summit provides a great view of the Southeast valley; I was able to see all the way to South and Camelback Mountains.
