Bruno did great on his first bushwack. I have an afternoon appointment so I could only be there for a few hours. I got to the TH a little before sunrise and finished about 1130. We went off trail from the switchback and hiked to the waypoint and took a few sweeps. Then we hiked to the "forest area" and then back to the trail. We then we did another loop looking for my gps which was swallowed by a manzanita.Looking back at it, I realize when it happened but we couldn't find it. I only had to carry Bruno like 5 times. He's 70 pds of wigglyness. He is resting now and I wish I could be.
