My grand Mazatzal hike plans ruined by a rainy day, I stayed in Payson to work instead of play. Even with the cold rain, I didn't want the day to go to waste, so I did this old backyard hike. Plenty of cold, wet and mud, but I was glad I went. I met a friend at Chili's for dinner after the hike, then headed for home.
