Starting with temps at 65 it was a nice day for placing water caches at strategic spots along the trails. After a few more water caching trips I'll be ready for some fast and light hikes deeper into the Superstitions. Ideally overnight trips are the way to go, but seldom having 2 days in a row to backpack, by carrying as little as possible we hope to hike longer distances in one long day.

Had some fun with a rattler near where I was going to place the first cache... so I cached it somewhere else. Of course I don't mind rattlers making a home near my caches, it will keep people away.
